O foguete espacial não tripulado da empresa privada americana Orbital Sciences Corporation explodiu nesta terça-feira (28) seis segundos após o lançamento em Virginia, nos Estados Unidos. Ele lançaria a cápsula espacial Cygnus, que fazia parte de uma missão de reabastecimento da Estação Espacial Internacional (ISS). De acordo com a Nasa (Agência Espacial Americana), ninguém ficou ferido na explosão. A área está fechada.
O foguete, da altura de um prédio de 14 andares, construído e lançado pela Orbital Sciences, decolou às 20h22 (horário de Brasília) da plataforma na Ilha Wallops, na Virgínia, e explodiu.
